Hi Jim. I'm sure it would have been informative if I had any idea what
you're talking about. It sounds great, the accessibility, I mean. I'm jus
so far behind technologically speaking.

discussion list

Hi Rik and all,

I'll briefly say I have System access, Window Eyes and NVDA screen readers
on my PC. I use System Access and the System Access Mobile network much of
the time, Window Eyes as my secondary screen reader and dabble with NVDA.

The System Access Mobile Network is an online Email client as is Gmail.
I have Email addresses on both clients. System Access enables me to access
my Email, listen to radio stations, watch some TV shows, listen to OTR,
watch described videos, listen to podcasts and a host of other things. I
can also access much of this content with my IPhone or IPod through IBlink
Radio which is a free app from Serotek Corporation. I have the freedom to
take all of this anywhere I go and access all of the above from another
Windows Computer. I can either log into my account online or plug in a U3
smart drive to access the System Access Mobile Network. If I use the U3
smart drive, I can hear the speech output on the other Windows Computer as
if I were on my own machine. I can send content from System Access Mobile
Network right to my Victor Reader Stream. I can send email messages in my
own voice. One can remote other computers with the other person's
permission. There is magnification within this software as well. It may not
be like zoomtext, but it is available.

A few notes!

When Dar was getting her new dog, she used one of her guidedog school's
computers With System Access Mobile Network. She logged into her account
online, paid a few bills, read some Email and logged off.
There was no trace of this activity on their PC. When Dar and I were
attending a church function at someone's home, the lady mentioned she was
having problems with her PC. I was able to log into my SA Mobile account
from her PC, and with her help, Norton Anti Vyrus was uninstalled. This was
replaced with Microsoft Security Essentials. Her computer is still working
last I heard. My SA Mobile log in didn't leave a trace!

The only disadvantage with SA Mobile Email is its lack of a drafts folder.
There is a work around however. One can write a note in the notes section
and paste the note into the body of the Email. I did this a number of times
when planning this last convention.

I hope you found this to be informative!

You can learn more about this by going to:
http://www.serotek.com
If you like, you can try SA Mobile network for a week with no cost!

Jim
