Hi Rebecca and all,

I believe Joy is referring to the Braille Plus 18 second generation by 
American Printinghouse for the blind.  One can utilize speech or 
braille with this device.  You can read about it by going to:
http://www.aph.org. Do a search for Braille Plus 18.

I checked on Digit Eyes and this app for bar code reading is now $19.95 
which is much better than the $30 it was a few years back.
