I'd like to be on the resolutions committee, and although I've never chaired it before, it no one else wants to, I will. Joy

Hello all,

I would first like to thank those of you who contributed recipes to the Braille Monitor. I believe they may appear in the November issue.
George Kerscher, Dar Aldrich, Joy Breslauer and one other contributed to this effort! Thanks so much! I'm not certain we have sent recipes in some time.

Convention is a week away! Any number of things are coming together for our 2013 convention. Ted Robbins is chairing the Nominations Committee. We are trying to fill the positions of first and second Vice-President and the year termed board members. If any of you are interested in running, do check in with Ted.

I am looking for someone to head up the resolutions committee. Please contact me if this might interest you!

Our last convention committee meeting will be on Tuesday October 22nd at 6 PM. This will give us a couple more days to take care of last minute preparations for our convention.

Linda Hurlock is in charge of door prizes. Bring any you may have to the convention! These will be drawn between convention items.

I have more letters to write and still need to confirm a few people who probably didn't know they were written into the Convention Agenda!

I will have more to write as we are closer to the convention date!

Thanks for reading!

Jim
