Subject: Honk Honk!

May 1st will be the start of the Honk Honk Hustle!

We are asking all state affiliates, local chapters and individual members to
drive our vehicle donation program further down the road to success. Over
the next two months, all states will start equal at the starting line. At
the national convention, the success of our hustle will be revealed, and
unique trophies will be awarded to the three states that get the most
donations over the two months.

The success of this program is dependent on how much we promote it to the
public, through the distribution of promotional materials. We have materials
available to help with the hustle which include stickers, flyers and mail
inserts. Ideas on how to use these materials can be found on our website at
https://nfb.org/vehicle-donation-materials. Remember you can order more
promotional materials by contacting Joanne Wilson at jwilson at nfb.org.

We will also have a conference call for anyone that would like more ideas on
how to promote the program. It will be at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on May 6 to
get everyone revved up. The number to call in is 1-877-394-5901 and the
access code is 5987072.

As of April 30 we've had 151 vehicles donated, resulting in over $50,000 in
funds for the NFB. With 38 states participating in this program, here's the

Vehicle Donations Take the Blind Further

Donate your car to the National Federation of the Blind today!

For more information, please visit: www.carshelpingtheblind.org
<http://www.carshelpingtheblind.org/> or call 1-855-659-9314

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
