had begun recording the meeting and will work up minutes for this meeting.

Mention was made of the Presidential release. No one had listened yet, but
should.
President Breslauer recommended all to read the Braille Monitor.

appointments set up and still is working on Baucus' office for an
appointment time. Daines is set for 11:30 on Tuesday and Tester is set for

Conventions: National July 1-6

State. Discussion held. Need a committee appointed on the state level to
discuss & come up with recommendations/plans as to where & when. Bruce
volunteered to be on the committee. Linda Hurlock volunteered to be on the
committee; Bruce appointed Ted & Jim to be on the committee.
Linda moved to have our state convention in Great Falls. Discussion
Motion failed.
Committee is to meet Thursday the 16th @ 6 pm.

Order of Selection hearing: Jim marks reported on this. Procedure
necessary when State funds become short.

Dar Aldrich brought up an issue concerning being an officer in our rival
organization and being a member in the NFB of MT. Consensus was that this
shouldn't be a problem, unless they also are seeking a leadership position,
which can't be allowed. Recommended that this issue be taken up with the
NFB of MT Board, rather than the At Large Chapter.

Bruce said he would be stepping down as president of the At Large Chapter,
come November.

Rebecca stated that for the upcoming State convention, they would rent a van
and pick up folks to transport to the site. More discussion will be had on
this offer.

Convention committee will meet Thursday the 16th @ 6 pm using our regular
number & pass code.

Rik asked the question about protocol, concerning the At Large Chapter
discussing the State convention when it is a "State" matter. State
president Jim Aldrich appointed the convention committee, Bruce, Linda, Jim
& Ted, also inviting other interested parties to join.

It was discussed the need to have a State Board meeting. Set for January
20th at 7 pm, using our regular numbers.

Meeting was adjourned shortly after 11 am.

Respectfully submitted,
Ted Robbins
