Ted, I'm not sure who he spoke to, I got the impression that it was someone
at the bus station. I think that they were perhaps concerned about public
safety with additional buses coming and going through that area and making
more traffic and thus perhaps too much traffic going all different
directions and this making it confusing and unsafe. I didn't talk to them
myself and I didn't ask Jerry to ellaborate, this is just what I was
thinking in my head when he was telling me about what they were saying about
not wanting him to use their facility. Maybe it has something to do with
professional "toes" not getting stepped on, competition or something like
that. Like I said, I think it will all work itself out though. It sounds
like Town Pump may work out as a point for people to catch the bus and get
off of it and I've been in many cities where they park at Town Pumps to do
bus transfers so I can't imagine why it wouldn't work in Great Falls.

Just a thought.
When Jerry was talking about a place in Great Falls, did he discuss
with the GFTA folks about parking in their "barn" or was he intending to
park on the street, same as Rimrock used to do? I can't see why he would
interfere with the City busses, they don't park on the street, (the last I
was aware of) and his bus wouldn't be there much more than a few minutes.

hi, becca when the station was rimrock it accommidated both city and rimrock
but they had two sets of employees.
