Thanks Joy. Yes, humid air is much colder than dry air as humid air is much
hotter than dry air in the summer. That's one thing I don't like about MN
on all my trips there. Sticky and miserable in the summer and bitter cold
in the winter from the moisture from all the lakes. I'm sure we can handle
the weather in D. C. for a few days, we are Montanans, a special breed.
We're tough!

Subject: [Nfbmt] Washington Weather

Here is the current forecast for Washington, D.C. next week. Keep in mind
that it may also change some by the time we get there.

Sunday: Partly cloudy; high of 32; low of 28. Chance of precipitation 0%.
Wind ssw at 11 mph.

Monday: Partly cloudy. High of 35; low of 10. Chance of precipitation
20%. Wind nw at 13 mph.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy. High of 22. Low of 15. Chance of precipitation 0%.
Wind nnw at 12 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny; high of 25. Low of 18. Chance of precipitation 0%.
Wind nnw at 8 mph.

Thursday: partly cloudy, high of 34. Low of 27. Chance of precipitation
10%. Wind n at 9 mph.

Of course, even though it will not be snowing very much, there probably will
still be humidity in the air.

Cold humid air feels colder than cold dry air.

That is something that we in Montana may not be used to, although I heard
that yesterday the humidity in Great Falls was 88%.

Joy
