[Nfbmt] FW: Schedule for Big Bear Transit: Starting date on Friday Jan. 23, 2014

Hi Dar. That all makes a lot of sense. You used to travel, you should pick
it up again. When I come to Billings again, maybe we can go shopping or
something to encourage you. Don't be afraid of people. You need to use
common sense and not put yourself in vulnerable situations when you are
traveling but for every person out there who may have bad intentions towards
a person with disability, there are many more who would jump to your aid if
you had any difficulty. I've found that if I know where I am at, it helps
to keep me safe when I'm traveling. I work hard not to wander into shady
areas of town and not to put myself in a situation where I am with
characters who may want to take advantage of me. For example, I don't go to
bars and night clubs when I'm traveling unless I'm with a trusted friend who
has my back. I also try not to make myself a target to get mugged or robbed
by not dressing in clothes that are too nice and not carrying cash on me or
not a hand bag that can be grabbed from my hands by someone who may try to
grab it and run. Things like that. People are so willing to tell me what
is on a menu board in restaurants, to give me information on how to find the
front door to a business that I'm looking for and things like that. You can
also carry a jar of mace in your purse to protect yourself if you are
concerned about getting mugged or attacked in some other way. I don't like
the idea of living my life in fear of other people. Think about it dar. If
you want to talk about it, we can. I also believe that my Lord, Jesus, has
my back. How can we not live what we believe?

Wow you are quite the traveler.
I'm pleased you have a girlfriend you can come visit while your boys enjoy
themselves as well. Good for you.
When I was younger I never had a fear in traveling as I do now.
Many times I get the feeling that the nfb wishes us to say we will work on
anything.
For the most part I agree. Where in traveling I am getting more reserved.
I used to travel from here to Denver allot. Haven't done that in quite some
time.
I would love to go across country.
Where for the most part it is money so we don't.
Bruce was so kind when I would come to Grate Falls texting me while I was
traveling.
In the winter months I would be concerned going over the mountain.
Texting kept me focused on what I was going to do, that was visiting.
I feel safer with Jim with me than I do alone.
Then I know that I get afraid when I don't know what the person is going to
do who I don't know in my travels.
You keep up the swell work, Just enjoy life, get the best out of it you can,
and we will smile with you.
