Yes. I was just wondering what options were available, and you explained
that. Thank you. Joy

Accommodations for blind and low vision users usually include alternative
formats to print, human readers, etc. for effective communication. I don't
believe we will publish anything in print for the meetings, so it's likely
no accommodations are necessary for blind and low vision participants. Of
course, others with disabilities may require different accommodations, such
as sign language interpreters for the deaf. Does this make sense?

What accommodation choices are available to request, and who can request
them? Joy

Hi All,
Here is a more accessible announcement of the upcoming town hall meetings of
Blind and Low Vision Services and the rest of Disability Employment and
Transitions. Hope you can attend in person, and, if you can't be there, to
join by telephone. Pick the meeting that's closest to where you live.
Best!

Greetings,
Do to some accessibility issues, we are sending this information out in a
different format.
Inserted below are detailed announcements for a series of local Town Hall
Meetings for Vocational Rehabilitation and Blind Services (VRBS). The
meetings will be held in Billings, Great Falls, Helena, and Missoula.
This series of meetings will be different from the yearly public meetings
that VRBS has held in the past. Previous meetings have been listening
sessions conducted over a satellite network. VRBS listened and then
responded in writing at a later time. These meetings will involve VRBS
visiting communities, and presenting on anticipated changes and having a
dialogue with stakeholders on the issues. It may be possible to answer some
questions at the meetings, but there will likely still be some questions
that will have to be reviewed and researched prior to answering. However,
the focus will be on a dialogue with stakeholders on how things will be
changing and how can the changes be done effectively.
VRBS service delivery is going to be different and these meetings are going
to be different. We hope you have a chance to join us.
Also, please put the flyer for your area in your office and distribute to
persons you think may be interested in attending. Thank you.
