Does everyone get the notices for at large chapter meetings, and if so, why
do you not attend?  Is there something we can do to make it easier for you
to attend?

 

We want to make some changes to the at large chapter structure.  We were
thinking that members of the affiliate board could take turns leading the
chapter meetings, inviting guests, picking topics, etc.  The President of
the at large chapter would be more of a facilitator.  We want to make it
less boring and more participatory.  We could assign a reading or a speech
for everyone to read if anyone is interested.  Some of them are really good.
We should all read or listen to the Presidential Release.  Someone could be
in charge of calling those who do not have email; we could threeway some
people in who do not have long distance.  Each one could invite another one
to come.  Perhaps these changes will benefit the at large chapter.  

 

We wanted to have elections this meeting, but we wanted more people to be
there to participate in them.  We will have elections at November's meeting,
Thursday, November 12, 2015, at 6:00 P.M., so please try to be there if you
can.
