I couldn't find anything either.  Maybe the news of his demise is premature.
That's the risk of relying on the rumor mill.  If anybody finds out

Well, I googled and could find no mention of his death or an obituary in
Dillon.  I called his home phone.  It wasn't disconnected, but rand and
rang.  I put in  a call to Cody's cell phone, which was turned off.

In short, I can find no news to pass on and clear things up.
