Oh you guys, you have no idea how I feel about this!  I'm so glad Marty's
alive, and so glad I was wrong.  I'm glad Cody's doing well.  If I ever see
Marty again, I owe him a big apology!  Joy

Cody called me back on Wednesday, after I'd already read Ted's e-mail that
he'd spoken with Marty.

Cody is indeed working for the IRS in Portland, OR.  He's been there
14 months now, and seems content with the work and has adjusted to the city
as well as can be expected for a dyed-in-the-wool Montana boy.
But he's determined to make his way in the world, and he's on his way.

It was good to talk with him.
