Sorry, no one else has volunteered and I'd sure like you to chair it if you
are willing.

I've been the nominating committee before and would be willing to do it
again. Don't know if I'd like to be chairman but if you can't find anyone
else, I will. Especially if I can contact Becca and Stacie by email to see
if they want to continue on the board. Linda

Hi, everybody.

I'd like to do things a bit differently than usual this year. I would like
someone to volunteer to be the chair of the nominating committee. We have
two board members up for election, Becca and Stacie. So, before the
convention, the nominating committee chair would find out if either one of
them want to run again for their position on the board. If so, then the
nominating committee would make note of it. If not, then the nominating
chair (and whoever else they choose to be on the committee), will ask around
to see if anybody else wants to fill the open board positions for a two year
term starting after the board meeting at the convention. Then at the
convention they would have a committee meeting to choose whom to nominate
for what board positions, and since there are only two of them and they are
pretty much interchangeable, it shouldn't matter who gets what seat. So
then on Sunday the nominating committee will bring their nominations to the
business meeting, and I will ask if there are any others from the floor, and
we will vote on them on Sunday.

Anybody want to volunteer?

The other thing I'd like to do before the convention is to form a
resolutions committee to formulate some resolutions to bring before the
convention. I have received a couple of ideas for resolutions from the
membership. Who else besides me wants to be on the Resolutions Committee?
Please let me know off list. Thanks. I don't have to be chair of this
committee, either, and maybe I shouldn't be, since I'm El Presidente already
already.
