[Nfbmt] Pizza Ranch press release

I am still figuring out Twitter.
But I don't think you post an event. Maybe.
I guess you can Tweet out that you are going, or attending, or something.
And you can re-tweet what somebody else tweeted that they are doing or
saying or whatever.

I created a couple of accounts in Twitter.
Some of the things I am Following are like news and independent news media
outlets and sources, in politics. Others are music, and baseball.
And of course some of our colleagues in the NFB.

I posted 2 events in the NFB of Montana Facebook page.
The Pizza deal in Billings. And the chapter meeting. The idea came from
Rebecca.
The people who use Facebook more might do a better job. But ah well.
Everyone is so busy.
Did not know what I was doing. And had to correct it several times.
It was weird. The times kept changing from what I had put it at. But
hopefully it is correct now.

Heading off soon for our Hot Club of Cowtown concert.
Did you and Bruce happen to hear them on my radio show yesterday?
I had a blast with them. It was a lot of work and worry getting all the
technical logisticals together. But I think it came off good on the air,
which is all you want to be sure of.

Later.
And I am glad that you were not out of sorts with my duplicated posting.
As far as it being more fun to read. I think reading anything that the other
person has written, always tops what I have written.
But I do try and throw in something like a comedy toy to play with while
they get the vital details.
Rik

Wow, Rik, your post was a lot more fun to read than mine!

How do you post to Twitter, or do you know?

Oops, before I realized that Joy had already posted to our NFB of Montana
Facebook Group page, I did a post, too. But hey, what is a little
duplication
among good old friends and colleagues in our Federation family, huh? Sorry
about that, Joy.

Here is what I posted:

Press Release, effective immediately until July 22, 2016:
The Yellowstone Chapter of the NFB of Montana announces the following event.

Coming up soon in Billings, there is a fun and delicious way to help raise
funds to support the NFB.
When? Thursday, July 21, 2016
Time? 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Where? The Pizza Ranch, 2505 King Avenue West, Billings, Montana

For more information, call chapter President Jeff Haworth at (406) 794-5057.

Or contact Yellowstone chapter Vice President, Dar Aldrich, at (406)
698-7112.

Please Like and Share this link on Facebook.
Then maybe get your face in front of a nice slice or two of pizza on July
21st, in Billings!

If you can't make it to Billings, there is another way to donate to the
statewide organization online.

I also created an Event. If anyone finds this was messed up in any way,
well,
I invite your comments, and your corrections and instructions. I keep having
to remind myself, it is no longer 1994. Before internet went all the way to
the race track and I had to chase my tail around and around.

"Quay Zee WrabbIt, that internet," said Mr. Elmer Fudd with his clumsy
keyboard clicking away.
