I called Jefferson Lines and got the following information about bus
schedules and fares.

 

Billings to Bozeman:

Leaves Billings at 12:55 P.M. every day; arrives in Bozeman at 3:30 P.M.
every day.

Leaves Bozeman at 3:40 P.M. every day.  Arrives in Billings at 6:30 P.M.
every day.

Individual Round trip ticket purchased 21 days in advance: $51; Otherwise,
$97.

 

Missoula to Bozeman: 

Leaves Missoula at 11:34 A.M. every day.  Arrives in Bozeman at 3:40 P.M.
every day. 

Leaves Bozeman at 3:30 P.M. every day.  Arrives in Missoula at 7:30 P.M.
every day. 

Individual round trip ticket purchased 21 days in advance: $65; otherwise,
$127.
