Sheila,
I'm so sorry.  They are like your child.  They are your best friend & love
you no matter what.  They will always be in your heart.  You did the right
thing.  I had to put my first guide to sleep, she had many health issues &
it was so hard watching her go through it.  I found it helpful to write down
all their cute habits & all the good memories.  Sending you hugs & keeping
you in our thoughts.

	I'm sorry to hear this.  I can't truly relate, except for the
several "companion" dogs I've had over my life.  All were farm dogs, but I
had a strong attachment with each.

Hello I had to put tres down last evening.He had cancer and I couldn't put
him through exploratory surgery or anything like that.
