[NFBMT] fund raising

Does anybody know when or if there is a Montana Gives or a Great Falls Gives
or some such like that, where several nonprofits get the benefit of whatever
funds are raised and perhaps they are matched by community businesses?  I'd
like to find out about it before it happens rather than after, and see if
there is a way for us to participate. I don't know how to link up with
something like that, or what it is legal for a nonprofit to do.  If I
remember correctly, we can't be part of the United Way, although I've never
been clear on why.
