[NFBMT] Message from Rep. Gianforte

Hi All,

Doesn't HR620 need to go to the Senate for further action or am I 
behind the times as usual? If I'm correct, we need to be writing both 
senators next! If it doesn't go before the Senate, it will die!  No 
matter what happens, this will come up again guaranteed! We must 
approach this and other issues with a cool head and keeping in mind our 
options!  If you were acting alone, I could understand your concern!  
We are a part of the National Federation Of The Blind and it won't be 
going away anytime soon!  I'll be surprised if it does! In the early 
days, we had to build an organization and fight our battles which was 
strenuous! Now, we have a National Center which enables us with many 
resources to deal with the many challenges at hand!  As I see it, the 
NFB has exhibited patience and persistence!  We'll keep coming back! 
You can count on this!  Our movement has attracted many whether they be 
liberals or conservatives, democrats or republicans. We may have lost a 
battle but we haven't lost the war! No matter what happens, we'll be back!

Another thing!  I believe the 2018 mid year elections are about to take 
place! Our Congressman is up for reelection!  Here is your chance to 
work against him if you feel as strongly as you say you do! That of 
course depends on whether the other candidate is worthy or not as you see it!

I don't have much respect for our major news services, CBS, NBC, CNN, 
ABC they have an agenda and I don't feel we are getting a ballanced 
view of the news!  I think we are better off without these news 
services!  If I had my way, I'd turn them off and only watch the local 
news!  I've been getting more of my news through Youtube. I can 
tollerate NPR to a point since I've heard news there I didn't hear from 
the above mentioned sources.

I hope you enjoyed your bubble bath! I think you needed it!  Keep a 
cool head and keep in mind your options!  You have many of them!
