Another note to self: Clarify the date of the meeting. The next Resolutions
Committee meeting will be Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at 6:00 P.M. I'll try
to remember to send another reminder closer to the date. Your past President
must be getting a little rusty. Joy
P.S. Jim Aldrich did show up. The rest of you were there in spirit.

Well, I waited till ten after six, and decided nobody was coming. Note to
self: Send out another reminder before the meeting. So, let's try for
Wednesday next week, August 21, at 6:00 P.M. Come with ideas for
resolutions.

Subject: Resolutions Committee Meeting
Hello, fellow Montana Federationists.
Our Treasure State convention will be here before you know it. I have been
asked to be the Resolutions committee chair. I'd like to get a committee
together to work on some resolutions beforehand. I'd like to hold weekly
conference meetings on Wednesday evenings at six P.M. I will try to keep
them to an hour. If this doesn't work for someone who really wants to be on
the committee, please let me know.
I'd like to get a committee together composed of members from every part of
the state. I don't want to exclude anyone who wants to be on the committee.
But even if you're not on the committee, feel free to let one of us know if
you have an idea for a resolution.
I think maybe four or five members is plenty. A smaller committee might be
more agile.
Aye, aye, aye, that's a lot of I's.
So here are my suggestions for the Resolutions Committee. If you would
rather not be on it, please let me know.
Jim Marks, Helena, who is on all committees anyway
Joy Breslauer, Great Falls, Resolutions Committee chair
Jim Aldrich, Billings
