[NFBMT] ExpressVote: My Public Comment

Hi all,


I think most things won’t change!  It will be as it has been except for the machines.  I’m certain our county will have them in place.  The machines themselves may be new but the express vote system has been in place  in other states for at least five years, maybe more.  Perhaps those in Helena were looking for a tried and true system.  It is my custom to watch Youtube videos.  I searched for Express vote voting machines and I found a number of videos directed towards county and state workers.  Some of these have been up there for five years or more.  It would be interesting to find where it is still being used or whether some states abandoned its use.  Perhaps we could contact people in states which have videos directed to them.  This could give us more of a heads up.  If any one of us wanted to become an election judge, their system may not be very accessible for setting up based on my understanding on what I heard.  I think one can use the touch screen or a keyboard when voting.  Perhaps we could inquire how the different sizes of ballots was handled.
