SB 291: Revise Laws on Voting Systems and Ballot Forms

 

Passed its third reading as amended before the Senate Administration
Committee on Wednesday, February 27, had its first reading before the House
Administration Committee on Thursday, february 28, and was not tabled.

 

HB439, Revise laws related to misrepresented service animals, had a hearing
before the House Judiciary Committee on Monday, March 11, and was not tabled.

 

HB 659: Establish penalties for negligent injury or death of service animal 

 

Had its first reading before the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday, March
14, and was not tabled.  It will have its first hearing before the House
Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, March 26, at 8:00 A.M. in room 137.     

 

Everyone's situation with a guide dog or service animal is unique, so telling
your story is very important, especially if you have lived through the injury
or death of a service animal, or have experienced interference with or
destruction of your partnership due to someone else's actions.  

 

If you would like to leave a message for a legislator, you can call
406-444-4800 and operators will take a message that will be forwarded to
legislators. Please be aware that they will ask for your name and address,
which will not be shared other than with the legislator. The operators can
take a message for up to 5 legislators at one time or to an entire committee.
