Have you registered yet for the National Federation of the Blind National Convention? It’s free!

>From the NFB web site:

Thank you for registering for the 2020 National Convention of the National Federation of the Blind which will take place Tuesday, July 14 through Sunday, July 19, 2020.

Your registration gives you access to exclusive offers, convention announcements, door prizes, and other exciting content.

While registration is free, we welcome and encourage donations to support our ongoing work to protect the rights of all blind Americans.

How to Participate

There will be multiple ways to virtually participate in and interact with all convention events, from video conferencing to phone access. Plus, as local conditions permit, NFB affiliates will organize in-person gatherings in conjunction with sessions being held at the national level to enhance the convention experience.

We're glad you will join us to celebrate NFB’s eightieth anniversary and expand our circle of participation. We expect this year's convention to be the largest gathering of blind people in history.

First-Time Attendees

The Rookie Roundup is always a great session for all new attendees. Details will be provided in the agenda. Also, check out our first-timers guide.

Diversity and Inclusion

The NFB is deeply committed to diversity, inclusion, integrity, and respect. Throughout the week, you will have amazing opportunities to network with thousands of blind role models and leaders, attend presentations on a wide variety of empowering topics, and experience the latest in technology. To allow all attendees the chance to benefit from all aspects of the convention, we must provide a harassment-free environment for everyone. We appreciate your assistance in cultivating an atmosphere in which participants from diverse backgrounds can learn, network, and share with each other in a spirit of mutual respect. Thank you for doing your part to contribute to our community and the high expectations we strive to maintain.

Please visit our convention webpage often for updates and other special announcements. These updates will also be emailed to you in the coming months. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and join the conversation using #NFB20. For more information, please contact us at 410-659-9314 or nfb at nfb.org.

Thank you again. I know that, together, we will make this convention our best yet.

Warmly,

Mark A. Riccobono, President
