[NFBMT] 2022 Treasure State Convention Elections

Hello, NFB of Montana Federationists.

 

I hope you are having a great summer.

 

The Tenth Annual Treasure State convention is coming up in a couple of
months, on Saturday, October 1, 2022.  It will be here before you know it.

 

One of the things that the NFB of Montana members will do at our state
Convention is to elect or re-elect seven members to be on the NFB of Montana
Board for the next two years.

 

The NFB of Montana Board consists of nine members, including five officers:
President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Secretary, and
Treasurer, and four at large board members. The officers and two at large
board members are elected for two year terms in even-numbered years; two at
large board members are elected for two year terms in odd numbered years.
Occasionally an officer or a board member may not be able to, or may not
choose to, fulfill their full term, in which case their term is fulfilled by
the next officer in order, or by the election of a board member at the next
convention to fill out the remaining year of the vacant term.

 

The seven board members up for re-election this year are as follows:

President: Jim Marks, Helena 

First Vice President: Joy Breslauer, Great Falls

Second Vice President: Sheila Leigland, Great Falls

Secretary: Robert Jaquiss, Missoula

Treasurer: Ted Robbins, Great Falls

Board Member At Large: Jim Aldrich, Billings

Board Member At large: Denise Moses, Corvallis 

 

Please be thinking about whether you would like to vote for any of these
board members at our state convention, or whether you would like to nominate
someone to the Board (please ask their permission first), or whether you
might want to replace someone on the Board yourself.  Please don't post your
thoughts to any list beforehand; share them at the convention with the
nominating committee which has not been appointed yet.    

 

Looking forward to exciting plans at the 2022 Treasure State Convention on
