Subject: Speak Up About Public Transportation - Meeting on Nov. 24
Hello,
Last year you responded to a survey of DRMTs about transportation. Thank
you for taking the time to share your stories and concerns with us. Many of
you have talked about long wait times, limited routes, and how hard it can
be to get where you need to go. Your lived experience matter, and lawmakers
will be talking about these issues soon.
The Transportation Interim Committee

_24_2025/Draft_Agenda.pdf> is meeting on:
Monday, November 24, 2025
8:30am-4:00pm
Room 102, Montana State Capitol in Helena
The committee will talk about the public transportation study starting at
1:10pm, and public comment will begin at 2:15pm. This is your chance to
share your experiences and ideas. Real stories, like yours, can spark
important conversations amongst lawmakers and help shape transportation
solutions that better connect us to our jobs, healthcare, and daily life.
How You Can Share Your Thoughts
You can comment in any of these ways:
1. In person:
Come to the Capitol and speak during the public comment time.
2. Online (remote):
You can speak through video or phone. You must sign up at least 2 hours
before the meeting here:
https://participate.legmt.gov/
3. In writing:
Send written comments online or mail them to:
Transportation Interim Committee
PO Box 201706
Helena, MT 59620-1706
4. We will share it for you:
If you can't participate or feel too nervous to speak, we can share your
story on your behalf so your story can be heard. Just let us know!
We Can Help
If you want help writing your comment, practicing what to say, or signing up
to speak online, we can support you one-on-one. Just let me know what you
need.
Your voice is important, and lawmakers need to hear from people who are
directly affected by Montana's transportation system.
Please reach out if you want help getting ready.
Thank you,
