Secretaries report-please read report as emails, corrections questions and discussion at the chapter meeting otherwise will be excepted as mailed and red.

Treasures report-please read as mailed any questions corrections discussion will be held at the meeting.

Please bring your refreshments drink and or snack

Old business:

July: national convention eight members at 10 to 4 receive scholarships of $100 each from the Miami Valley chapter. Two members received $145 from Dr. Carolyn Peters won 100 another $45.

 Dr. peters presented at two sessions at the national convention: communities of faith

And the under served populations, Where she co-Present it with Suzanne Turner on mentorship

Wanda sloan, was elected national secretary for the Dan




Walter Mitchell from the Cincinnati Chapter was a point it national board member for the Dan

 August: we had our annual picnic which was awesome hopefully you read the reports. We had visitors from Ood , Sonya hill and tandem bike riders Mr. and Mrs. Fabian.

Kudu, to Gary Williams and Janine Pickens and Amy BAnano for coordinating the picnic

New business:

Goodwill industries, Ood, Miami Valley chapter partnering in the McCormick vision fair October 12, 2017 please plan to attend we will have two tables. More information to come.

Ohio state convention October 27 28th and 29th 2017 please plan to attend it is very close being held in Columbus at the Doubletree at Columbus Worthington please read your emails Ohio top and Miami lipserve for additional information.

We have been asked asked to participate  in the.  Auction, Karen Warner has volunteered to prepare a basket at the cost of $75?

  Wanda sloan, has agreed to schedule volunteers for the State table.

    Wanda, Sheila, Karen, and Gloria have ideas to share for things to be sold for the Chapter. Karen Warner suggests raffle tickets, we must make a decision at this chapter meeting. The raffle tickets with raffle off two baskets of goodies for a man and one for a woman

 Please start thinking of travel to Columbus for the state convention, if you have a family member or a church family member or a friend who would be willing to take you and another person please start sharing information with one another so we can have as many people at the state convention as possible.

 Please let us know at this meeting whether or not you have registered at the hotel and registered for the convention. Also, for the hospitality room Columbus Chapter would like for us to donate goods to that hospitality. Shelbi Hindo will contact me and let me know what they are in need, hopefully before we meet.

Lastly, Shrley mcdowell and Annie Hencely will coordinate our holiday dinner at a restaurant, they will give you a choice or tell you what they have selected at this meeting so you can prepare for December.   

 If  Time is not available, no they will take care at this event.
