[NFBMV] Call for candidates for chapter board

Greetings all
   I am sending this email requesting candidates for the Miami Valley board.  Members are being notified by email and phone for those who do not have email.  First of all you must be a dues paying member to run for office or to vote in the election.  Secondly if you want to run for an office you should have a good understanding of the responsibilities and duties of the office you are seeking.  If uncertain you can talk to other chapter members or perhaps someone who has held the office you seek.  You will need to be ready to immediately be prepared to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position you are seeking if elected.  If interested you may contact any member of the nomination committee which includes  myself, Shirley McDowell or Karen Warner and let us know of your intentions.  At the time of the election you will have another opportunity to declare you are a candidate for office if you are undecided at present.  If you are a current office holder and do not plan to seek re-election please let the Nomination committee know.
