Thanks, Tim. If folks could respond on here with what they are bringing so
that we all know, that would help.

Subject: [NFBMV] NFB picnic, August 10, 11 A M - 3 P M, Hills & Dale park,
Twin Oaks shelter

Hello members of the Miami Valley chapter. This year I am going to do the
picnic a little different instead of grilling hamburgers and hot dogs I
would like everyone to bring whatever main course they would like such as
Chicken, cold cut sandwiches or pizza. Grilling out requires bringing a lot
of extra stuff such as charcoal, lighter and cooking utensils not to mention
all the food. Also it will free up whoever would be manning the grill so
they could enjoy the picnic and not spent all day cooking. If you would
like to bring a main course to share that is O K but if you only want to
provide your own main course that is also fine. I have already heard from
one member who will bring a bucket of chicken. As far as side dishes we
could use salads such as cole slaw or potato salad, deserts such as cookies,
drinks, plates, silverware and napkins. If you bring something that will
need a serving utensil please bring to the picnic. If you could let me know
what you plan to bring to the picnic so I can co-ordinate and make sure
everything is covered. The picnic will be held at Twin Oaks shelter in
Hills & Dale Park located at 2655 S Patterson Blvd on Saturday August 10th
from 11 A M to 3 P M. The Twin Oaks shelter is the first shelter after the
parking lot as you come into the park.
