Greetings,

Below is information about a book written by Mary Robinson members may want
to check out.

Before the events that inspired this book, Mary was teaching blind children
in the Fremont area. She, along with Casey Robertson, led our first Nebraska
BELL Academy in 2012. She was also inspired by a family she met at our
National Federation of the Blind convention in Florida to create a sensory
garden in Fremont. She explains that in her book.

Here is her message:

"What is Seed, Stem, Bloom? In 2014, I was faced with a harrowing and
completely unexpected defining moment when I was diagnosed with acute
myeloid leukemia. A relapse in 2017 determined that an allogeneic stem cell
transplant was the only option for long-term survival. And although this
book tracks my story through that long journey, it is not a book about
cancer. The core of this book, with its intention to share the experiences
of a particularly difficult season in my life, is all about following God's
signs."
