[NFBN-Announce] Join Us for the August 2 NFBN Board Meeting

Dear Federation Family!

 

I hope your summer is going well! It's hard to believe that school across
Nebraska will be starting in just three short weeks. As we enjoy these final
days of summer, many of us are returning from the National Convention
feeling reenergized, inspired, and ready to keep building the Federation
here at home.

 

With that momentum, we invite you to join us for the next quarterly Board of
Directors meeting of the National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska on
Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the site of our 2026 state convention:

110 South 2nd Avenue Room F
Kearney, NE 68847



Meeting begins at 8:30 a.m.

A Zoom link will be shared closer to the meeting date. We welcome all
members and friends to join us, whether in person or virtually.

 

At this meeting, we'll recap the 2025 state and national conventions and
look ahead to the Washington Seminar and our 2026 state convention. We'll
also discuss the Homestead Act and other legislative priorities, along with
our fall Walk for Independence and upcoming activities for Blindness
Equality Achievement Month.

 

We hope you'll be part of the conversation and the movement as we shape
what's next in Nebraska!
