[NFBN-Announce] SAVE THE DATE: NFB of Nebraska Guide Dog Users' First Group Meeting!

Hello all! I hope the wind isn't blowing you away today and that you're all staying nice and warm. I'm excited to announce that our state affiliate is forming a guide dog users group and we're looking for members. You can be a current, former or perspective guide dog user, or a non-guide dog user who cares about issues we face as handlers. We will have our first meeting on Thursday, February 26 at 7 p.m. This meeting will mainly gauge interest and get to know one another, as well as figure out what we want this group to accomplish. The hope is to have these meetings on the final Thursday of every other month, so our next meeting will double as the guide dog user seminar at convention. Please let me know if you have questions or ideas for what you'd like to see in this group.
