Hello Federationists,

 

Matthew Stein is a blind comedian from Illinois who will be performing in
Nebraska this month. He has three shows scheduled. One in Seward on March
13, one in Columbus on March 14 and one in Lincoln at the Zoo  Bar at 8:30PM
on March 15. 

 

Matthew said he is hoping to fill the Zoo Bar with white canes. Matthew
contacted the NCBVI, and Jessica forwarded his contact information to me.
When I talked with Matthew, I was focused more on the Lincoln show.
Unfortunately, I do not know the venues or times for the Seward and Columbus
shows. I will be emailing Matthew, so I hope to be able to send out more
information on those shows.  

 

The Zoo Bar show has a $15 cover, but Matthew said he hopes to negotiate a
special rate for blind patrons. When I talked to Matthew, he seemed friendly
and funny. I will probably be attending.
