There's no better way to wrap up the season than by coming together to plan for an exciting fall and beyond!<o:p></o:p></p><p> The National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska Board of Directors will hold its quarterly meeting on <strong><span style='font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif'>Saturday, August 29, 2026</span></strong>, in the <strong><span style='font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif'>Dakota Room</span></strong> at the <strong><span style='font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif'>Divots Conference Center, 4200 West Norfolk Avenue, Norfolk, Nebraska 68701</span></strong>. This is also the site of the <strong><span style='font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif'>2027 National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska State Convention</span></strong>, which will be held <strong><span style='font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif'>April 8–11, 2027</span></strong>.<o:p></o:p></p><p>The meeting will begin at <strong><span style='font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif'>9:30 a.m.</span></strong> and conclude at approximately <strong><span style='font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif'>2:30 p.m.</span></strong> As always, board meetings are open to our membership, and a Zoom option will also be available for those who wish to attend remotely.<o:p></o:p></p><p>The agenda is still being finalized and will be distributed next week. Planned topics include discussions on upcoming fall activities, including <strong><span style='font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif'>Blind Equality Achievement Month</span></strong> and the <strong><span style='font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif'>Coast to Coast Challenge</span></strong>. We will also discuss Washington <strong><span style='font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif'>Seminar</span></strong> and the <strong><span style='font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif'>2027 National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska State Convention</span></strong>, along with other important organizational business.<o:p></o:p></p><p>If you are interested in attending the meeting in person, please let President Richey know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.<o:p></o:p></p><p>I hope you will be able to join us, either in person or on Zoom, as we continue the important work of the National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska.
