[NFBN-Lincoln] FW: Invitation to participate in upcoming career mentoring seminar

Hello All,

 

I’m needing some assistance with the following request from Nikki Jackson of the National Center.  

 

 

We will be hosting another career mentoring onsite seminar with the students and staff at the Nebraska Center for the Blind. This session will be taking place on September 24-September 25. I am writing you to extend an invitation to you and any affiliate members who would be interested in joining us for this event. This seminar will focus on career planning, informational interviews, and mastering the job interview. We would love to have affiliate members participate in our mock interviews and share their experiences of finding career success with the students. Most importantly, we want to ensure the students can build relationships with the leaders and members of the organization. 

 Five people at the most would be ideal. We Specifically need members for the where the blind work panel discussion  taking place on 9/24 at 2:30pm and assisting with conducting mock interviews on 9/25 around 10:00am.

 

I am available on Wednesday, September 24th, but not the 25th. Would anyone else be available to assist?  Please let me know by Monday. You can email me directly at:
