Our holiday party at Mazatln helped get the season off to a great start. We are now only a week and a half away from our NFB of Nebraska Lincoln Chapter elections. I would encourage people to give consideration to who you would like to see representing the chapter as office holders and board members. If there is somebody you think would do a good job, shed your shyness and ask that person if you can nominate them. If you are interested in serving as an office holder, let somebody know so you can be nominated. At November’s meeting I announced I would be starting a graduate Orientation & Mobility certificate program and I was hoping to hand off the presidency. I have begun the program and am still hopeful that a candidate for the presidency will emerge. If you have any ideas who this candidate could be, please feel free to speak up.
