Dear Federationists:

The Academic Interest Group would like to invite those of you who 
have, or are pursuing, careers in academia to several gatherings we 
are holding during the 2011 NFB national convention.

We will first hold a break-out session during the Educators Division 
meeting on Tuesday, July 5, at 3:10 p.m.  The educator's Meeting 
starts at 1:30 (Wekiwa 1, Level 2).  .

On Tuesday, July 5, at 5:00 p.m., shortly after the close of the 
educators meeting, the academic interest group will meet for an 
informal discussion in the Affiliate Action Suite, which will be 
located in Room #14230.

During both of these gatherings, we will discuss strategies for 
succeeding in graduate school and in the academic job search, as well 
as how to effectively manage our roles as 	researchers and teachers.

All those interested are welcome to attend both events.  We hope to 
see you there.
