The below research participant solicitation is being provided for informational purposes only. The National Federation of the Blind has no involvement in this research, but we believe that it may contribute to our research mission.

Are you a blind individual who is interested in sharing your experience working with productivity applications (e.g. word processors, spreadsheets, presentations etc)?

We are a group of researchers from the Inclusive Technologies Group at Monash University conducting research towards enhancing accessibility of productivity applications for people who are blind.

Productivity applications are often used in our daily lives, at university and in the workplace. However, they can be challenging to access by people who are blind. Identifying the challenges and providing more accessible applications will allow people who are blind to independently access these applications with benefits for education and employment.

If you are interested in sharing your experiences, you are invited to respond to a survey: https://forms.gle/oaJFvahm2iDBHBSt6. The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. You will have the opportunity to enter a draw to win one of ten $50 (AUD) worth of gift cards.

Your participation will help enormously with this research and contribute to enhancing accessibility of productivity applications.

This study has the approval of the Monash University Human Research Ethics Committee: Project ID 36443.
