<font size=2>This is Parnell Diggs, Chairman of the National Federation

of the Blind Imagination Fund.  On June 22 at 8:00 PM EDT, I will

appear on a special broadcast of "Thruoureyes" with Joe Ruffalo

to talk about the Imagination Fund and the men and women across the

nation who are working so hard to raise funds for the programs of the

National Federation of the Blind.<br>

<font size=2>During the show, Joe and I will be announcing the

individuals who will be invited to ride in the Blind Driver Challenge™

car in Orlando on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 5.  To be

considered for selection, you must raise at least $1000 in the

Imagination Fund campaign by June 15 and register for the National

Convention.  Details about how to tune-in to "Thruoureyes"

are coming soon.<br>

<font size=2>The top ten Imaginators will be invited automatically. 

The remaining participants will be selected in a drawing from among those

who raise at least $1000 by June 15.  For many of you, the $1000

mark is within sight.  In fact, even if you have not started yet,

there is still plenty of time.  I observe that Angela Frederick of

Texas raised over $1000 within seventy-two hours in May, and she is not

finished.<br>

<font size=2>But a ride in the Blind Driver Challenge™ car is not the

only incentive to raise $1000.  We will read aloud the names of

those who raise $1000 at the National Convention; and of course, there is

the medallion, which will be awarded to anyone who raises $1000 by the

end of the campaign on July 31.  Ultimately, we will all benefit

from supporting the programs of the National Federation of the

Blind.  Our future is up to you and me.<br>
