Reminder of two events designed to educate and improve life for current
and future NFB members! This is for families with young children,
young adults, men and women of all ages above. Dual sensory loss
does not discriminate. It will impact the lives of people of all
races. Dual sensory loss does not care if you are well or under
educated, rich or poor. This may manifest itself at birth or with
seniors. Showing up together or one at a time, it has no
preferences. Remember as with vision loss, the entire family is
impacted by a dual sensory diagnosis.<br><br>

This is not written to scare but to inform you that those who have dual
sensory loss have survive and are waiting to demonstrate how this too is
NOT the end of the world. Come hear it for yourselves and as a
newly educated leader you can be prepared for those who come to you for
help. You will not only share information you will also be aware of
the issues the deafblind faces everyday of their lives.<br><br>

<b>Salon 3, level 2 </b>The Deaf-Blind Division presents informed guest
speakers on key subjects: operation outreach, development of nationwide
SSP programs, and iCanConnect deaf-blind equipment acquisition.<br><br>

</b>SUPPORT SERVICE PROVIDER (SSP) WORKSHOP<br><br>
<b>Salon 3, level 2 </b>Deaf-blind consumers, family members, providers
of SSP services, and interested members are invited to discuss, meet, and
interact with others looking for information and answers about this
growing area of support for deaf-blind consumers.<br><br>
<br><br>
Come and learn and help educate both the sighted public and other
disability groups. You'll be glad you did!<br><br>
