Ladies and Gentlemen,<br>
My thoughts for this Memorial Day!<br><br>
On this Memorial Day we pay tribute to the men and women who gave their
lives in service to our country that were dedicated to the worthy cause
of freedom, and not one of them died in vain. From colonial America to
the Persian Gulf, from places such as the Argonne to Normandy, Inchon,
and Da Nangthey fought and sacrificed so others might live in peace,
free from the fear of tyranny and aggression. On this Memorial Day, our
hearts should swell with thankfulness and pride as we reflect on our
Nation’s enduring heritage of liberty and Freedom. Let’s also remember
three of our own NABV members (James Worley, Clinton Grimsley and Eugene
Huggins). James an Army Decorated First Sgt. And Vietnam Veteran
was one of our founding members and who provided our original seed money.
Clinton Grimsley, a board member who not only fought in Vietnam, but
fought Throat Cancer just as bravely. Eugene Huggins our First Vice
President who died from complications of Agent Orange which he was
exposed to during his service in Vietnam. These are just a few of the
thousands of brave men and women who have paid the ultimate price for our
freedom, along with their families who still are experiencing their loss.
Let us never forget them!<br>

Just a quick note to ask for your help in letting all our Veterans from

The National Association of Blind Veterans is having a Veterans Welcome
Reception and Meeting on <br><br>
Friday Night July 1, 2016 from 5-7PM Reception and 7-10PM National
Veterans Meeting. Food will be served with light refreshments and a
Cash Bar. The room is Panzacola H-2. <br><br>
Thank you for your assistance in letting ALL our VETERANS know
about this Welcome Reception.<br><br>
