Are you interested in making a difference on how business’s feel about hiring someone with a disability?  If your answer is yes then you may want to entertain the thought of joining The Family Resource Network on January 12 at Learning Alley in Princeton  as we form  a statewide  Business Advisory council.  The council will be made up of business’s, disability organizations as well as any person interested in making a difference! Below is some more information and if interested please rsvp to me with an email or phone call.  Space is limited,  Food and drinks will be served.

On behalf of The Family Resource Network, you are cordially invited to our Business Advisory Council Open House which will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017.

The Family Resource Network’s goal is to partner with companies, organizations and individuals in hopes of creating employment and training opportunities for people with disabilities. Therefore, we are inviting businesses, organizations and people with disabilities to assist us in forming a Business Advisory Council, in order to accomplish this overarching goal. 

The Family Resource Network provides services for people with all types of disabilities.   The event will include a welcome from our Executive Directory, Eric Joice and a presentation from our Director of Employment Services, Greg Makely, detailing what participation on the council would entail, to assist attendees in making a decision as to whether becoming inaugural members of The Family Resource Network Business Advisory Council. 

In addition, there will be resource tables, showcasing other state and local organizations that provide disability services, in order to provide businesses with perspective on the array of support services available to them, as they engage in hiring and forming vital relationships with members of the disability community.

Refreshments will be available, along the lines of finger food and non-alcoholic drinks.

Time:  3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
