Special Notice:
For those that have made hotel reservations, great.
For those that have completed preRegistrations, great.
For those that need to make pre registrations and hotel reservations,
deadlines are approaching.

1. Updates pertaining to the collection of items for the food pantry
2. Comments highlighting Salsa dance lessons during theFriday evenings

1. The Barnegat Food Pantry will be accepting all unexpired
nonperishable food items. In addition, the pantry will accept items such as
shampoo, soap, body wash, laundry soap, papertowels, toilet tissue, etc. The
staff will be guests of the NFBNJ and will join us at the banquet where we
will present all items collected.
Note: The hotel staff will participate with contributions to this outreach
project.
2. Salsa dance lesson:
Please contact Krystle Allen, coordinator of the Friday evening activity! We
want to encourage the individuals who are interested to participate in a
dress code for that session. Krystle could provide assistance with
obtaining list of some salsa like attire. It adds to the festivity of the
session.

upcoming state convention.
Deadline is approaching and therefore, don't hesitate. Make your hotel
reservations as soon as possible.
For those that have registered with Paypal or with check, thanks.
For those still needing to pre register, don't hesitate. Please review and
pre register as soon as possible. The deadline is approaching.

We have provided updated information for the procedure to pre register with
PayPal or with a check for the 41st state convention, Live The Life You
Want; Let's Make It Happen! We are honoring long time member, Jerilyn
higgins.
In addition, we will be conducting a community outreach project and we need
your help. Please consider bringing a nonperishable food item or items. We
will be donating all items to a local food pantry. In addition, pictures of
this community outreach will be highlighted during the banquet and posted on
the state website.

For those pre registering with a check as your payment, please complete the
pre registration form located at the end of this email.
Do not complete this form on line if paying with check.
If paying with check, mail all information needed such as all contact
information of those attending, Friday box lunch, Saturday box lunch ,
Friday dinner and Saturday banquet. Please take notice on meal choices for
the banquet. In addition, complete the section to determine the type of
media you prefer, large print, email,Braille.

It is that time of year to make your hotel reservations and to complete the
pre registration form located in this message. In addition, the pre
registration form can be found on Newsline and the state website, please
visit www.nfbnj.org/state-convention <http://www.nfbnj.org/state-convention>

Please take notice to the following dates:
* October 19: deadline to reserve hotel rooms at the NFBNJ special
price
* October 20: deadline to reserve for childcare
* October 26: deadline for pre registration

Room rates are $89 per night plus tax. Breakfast is included for each
registered guest.
We are planning to complete the agenda during the week of October 23. When
completed, the convention agenda will be posted on the state website, posted
on Newsline and distributed to all on our NFBNJ distribution lists. In
addition, we will distribute the hotel restaurant menu.
Once the deadline of October 26 passes, the pre registration form will be
deleted from the state website and registration form with increased prices
will be posted.
With the above message, please do the following:
1. don't hesitate, MAKE YOUR HOTEL room RESERVATIONS
2. MAKE PAYMENT To ATTEND THE 41st STATE CONVENTION OF THE NFBNJ.
We have provided several methods to make payment.
PayPal with your debit or credit card and or if you have a PayPal account.
If you wish to make payment with check, please complete the pre
registration form and make check payable to NFBNJ and mail to Joe Ruffalo,
254 Spruce Street, Bloomfield, New Jersey 07003.
If paying with check, don't complete the online form.
The on line form is for those paying through PayPal, methods listed above.
Please follow the procedures provided on the form. When completing the
online form, please complete all required fields for a successful
submission.
It is extremely important to have all information as we need to provide all
food counts a week prior to the state convention.

Instructions for PayPal:
When you go to the payment method drop-down in the checkout section, select
PayPal. It will then redirect you to the PayPal payment page. Once there you
can either enter your PayPal login information or click on the "pay via
credit or debit card" button. When submitting the form, please make sure the
state drop-down field states the correct state. For example, press N about
four times to get to New Jersey and make sure it says New Jersey before
moving on to the zip field.
