Hope you have made arrangements to attend the 10th annual after the Holidays
Party on Saturday, January 5, see below.
Once again, we will be collecting items for the Green Drop program.
I have provided a press release that was distributed to the local papers.
If not attending, the press release provides a phone number and website to
make arrangements for a home or office pickup.

TWO ORGANIZATIONS WORKING TOGETHER TO HELP OTHERS
Belleville, NEW JERSEY -Belleville Knights of Columbus Council 835, in
conjunction with the National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey is
seeking your assistance. On Saturday, Jan 5, 2019 at the K of C hall, 94
Bridge St, from 12 - 4pm we will be collecting slightly used clothing,
shoes, household items, kitchenware, toys & games, small appliances,
electronics, sporting goods, books, CD'S and videos.
The donation truck will pick up the items at 4 pm. Please mark all bags and
boxes with “NFB.” All items donated are cleaned and resold in Second Avenue
Thrift Stores. New items are also welcome. All donors will receive
information regarding a federal tax deduction. Kindly consider any donation
to this project which funds programs to change what it means to be blind.
If you are unable to dropoff your donation at the Knights hall, and would
like a home pickup, please call GreenDrop at 888 610 4632 and or
visit,www.nfbpickup.org.
The website will provide a list of acceptable and non acceptable items .
When arranging a home pickup, please mention the NFB.
Kindly mark all bags or boxes with NFB in order for the organization to
receive credit.

3. NFB T and Polo Shirts

I have been asked to provide the following information pertaining to the
NFBNJ T and Polo Shirts
With the holiday season upon us, makes a great gift for your self and
others.

Hello everyone,
Those who attended the convention now know we have NFB t shirts & polos for
sale. For those who haven't seen them yet, they are red with our tagline &
logo printed sharply in white. The T shirt is a soft cotton blend and the
polo a polyester. They are available in mens sizes S-XL and can be ordered
in size 2x-4x. With either, or both you can treat yourself or someone you
love to a gift as the holidays are fast approaching. The T shirts are $19,
the polos are $24 with individual shipping included. Another option is a
group shipment with the use of a flat rate box.
All orders must be paid in advance. Please make checks payable to: NFBNJ
(print shirts in the memo).
Don’t forget to provide size or sizes and type of shirts. Also include your
phone number to verify the order.
special Note For Chapter Presidents: Taking sizes from your chapter members
and making check payable to NFBNJ will assist with the shipping process with
the box of shirts to be delivered to you for distribution for upcoming
meetings.

flowers and trees, umbrellas, yarns and material, knick-knacks, antiques,
jewelry, luggage, buttons, musical instruments, towels, area rugs-6x9 or
smaller, Christmas and seasonal decorations, novelties, framed pictures and
paintings, yard tools, hardware tools, bedding, draperies, blankets,
bedspreads, quilts, sheets, pillows and pillow cases.
