Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, located in Piscataway, NJ, is 
looking to hire several part-time staff for its new Eye-2-Eye program, which 
is a new peer-based help line designed to assist callers who are 
experiencing distress related to issues of vision loss.  We are looking to 
hire individuals with lived experience of blindness or severe vision loss 
who have successfully overcome challenges related to psychological 
adjustment to this change, and who are highly motivated to assist others in 
this process. People of all backgrounds who meet these criteria are 
encouraged to apply. The position will involve phone-based peer support, and 
assistive technology will be available as needed.  Training in peer support 
and supervision will be provided. The people hired for the part-time 
positions will, through their experience and efforts, help to define the new 
program, and will also assist in the development of a manual that will 
assist other agencies in setting up similar programs.  To apply for a
