Here are some tips for a successful post to the Blind Mice Swap Shop

** The Subject Line  should be representative of your post so Swap Shop
Members will know what is in your post
Be sure that the subject line reflects what you have to sell or trade. If
you are looking to buy an item, it should be clearly stated. List members
will decide  to open or delete your post by what is in your subject line.

If selling;
your successful post should include:
1. A great Product Description
Include all the details you can of the product you are offering for sale.
This should include, but not be limited to, if it is new or used, a
description of the item, its size, and any technical info you can find on
it.

2. Your asking price for the item.
3. Shipping Cost
4. Where you are willing to ship; i.e U.S. Mainland Only, U.S. and Canada
Only, etc
5. The carrier you will use to ship; i.e. Postal Service using Free Matter,
First Class Mail or  Priority Mail; UPS, or Fed Ex
6. The Methods of payment you will accept
7. Your contact information; i.e email address, phone number
*Note: If posting your phone number, it is good to also list the hours  you
will be available to take calls

List Guidelines
These guidelines are strictly enforced. Anyone not following these
guidelines will be removed.
1. Each list member is responsible for any deals or agreements made with
another list member.
2. No flaming is allowed period. Violates will be permanently ban from the
Blind Mice Swap Shop list serve.
The Mice will not tolerate  any disrespectful, rude or insensitive comments
towards another list member.
3. No posts are allowed concerning the outcome of a transaction. The Mice
are not a credit bureau and reporting such information publicly violates
privacy laws.
If an issue arises between a seller and  buyer, it is the responsibility of
both parties to settle the dispute.
Please notify the Blind Mice Swap Shop Moderator by email if a seller or
buyer engages in any way to fraudulent acts information or fails to follow
through with a transaction.
Sellers providing false information or purposely attempting to mislead and
defraud members will be permanently ban and legal action will be taken.

If you have an unfavorable

transaction with a list member please notify the moderator.

Likewise, if you have a favorable transaction with a list member, please
notify the moderator.

The moderator will keep a record of all positive and negative transactions
for members. These are available upon request for a specific member from the
moderator.

4. This list is not a general conversation chat list. It is strictly for the
posting of items for sale, trade or wanted as well as services and events
beneficial to the blind & low vision community.

If you want to carry on a dialogue with another member or need to ask how to
