Dear Seeing Eye supporters and friends,

               On Monday, a bill that would make the Seeing Eye dog the 
state dog of New Jersey was sent to Governor Phil Murphy to sign. This bill 
was passed by unanimous vote in both the Assembly and Senate, but if 
Governor Murphy does not sign the bill soon, it will be vetoed. We need the 
governor to understand that The Seeing Eye dog is something special and 
unique that New Jersey can call its own. New Jersey is the only state where 
Seeing Eye dogs are bred, born, and trained, yet they make a worldwide 
impact.

Please help us ask Governor Murphy to sign this bill into law. Here's how 
you can help:

1.       Please call Governor Murphy's office at 609-292-6000 or by using 
the form at https://nj.gov/governor/contact/ and tell him why you want him 
to sign this bill. Tell him your connection to The Seeing Eye and why the 
organization is meaningful to you. If you get a busy signal or voicemail 
full message, please try again until someone answers.

2.       Please forward this email to your family and friends, asking them 
to join you in calling the Governor to express their support for this 
legislation.

3.       Post on your social media and tag the Governor's office, asking 
your network to join you in voicing their support for The Seeing Eye. We 
have created a sample post that you can copy and paste below.
