Emergency Food Distribution Events

1,000 turkeys and holiday dinner boxes will be distributed.
Tuesday December 21, 2021
Essex County Weequahic Park
Enter at Meeker Avenue & Empire Street Intersection
Newark, NJ

Event will take place rain or shine

   - Enter Weequahic Park via the Meeker Avenue entrance
   - Cars should line up along Elizabeth Avenue before turning right onto
   Meeker Avenue and then turning right into Weequahic Park
   - No arrivals before 8am
   - Drivers must keep their windows rolled up and open their trunk
   - A walk-up distribution will be located adjacent to the parking lot.
   People walking to the site must wear a face mask and bringing a rolling
   cart is encouraged.
