FALL FESTIVAL 2022 AGENDA ~ Saturday Oct. 15th 10am to 3pm

ADMISSION:  Free to all TBBC members plus ONE guest only.  All other guests
must buy their tickets online HERE and enter this discount code, TBB202 on
the order summary page as you checkout for the discounted admission fee of
$10 per guest, children under 5 are free.

• Adults 18 and up:  $10

• Students 6-17 or with college ID:  $10

• Grounds For Sculpture members and children 5 and younger:  Free

DIRECTIONS:  Registration, is located in one building, the Welcome Center
in the Seward Johnson Center for the Arts.  It is located at the main
entrance of the Grounds.  Find directions at this web site:

FOOD:  You may purchase lunch and snacks by credit card only at the Van
Gogh Café or Rat's Restaurant (reservation only).

HOW TO REGISTER:  Registration deadline is October 3, 2022.  Registration
is required for all attending our Fall Festival.  To register, call TBBC at
800-792-8322, extension 802 or 835, with the information below:

• Name, address, phone number

• Total number of adults (including yourself) and children attending

• Your choice of workshop or guided walking touch tour

TRANSPORTATION:  Attendees must make their own transportation plans.

10:00 am - 11:00 am:  Registration

11: am - 12:00 pm:  Choice of 1 Art Workshop or Guided Walking Touch Tour

• Art Workshops:

◦ Art Workshop 1:  Abstract Fireworks Painting:  Learn innovative ways to
use household items to create a masterful abstract painting.  This step by
step abstract painting workshop is for everyone who is willing to have an
enjoyable time! Previous painting experience in acrylic or paint is not
required.

◦ Art Workshop 2:  Texture field collage:  We will be discussing
expressionist art and making our own texture field art pieces.
Expressionist art is made to present things that are not objects, like
emotions and responses to events.  We will discuss famous expressionist
work and explore the communication of feelings through texture.

• Guided Walking Touch Tours:  Discover the wonders of the Grounds For
Sculpture!  Register for a docent-led touch tour featuring a variety of
sculptures.  All Guided Walking Touch Tours will last about 45 minutes.

◦ Touch Tour Group:  A walking tour that is moderately paced and will
highlight tactile sculptures around the grounds.

1:00 – 2:00 pm:  Choice of 1 Art Workshop or Guided Walking Touch Tour

• Choice of 1 Art Workshop (same as above)

OR

• Guided Walking Touch Tour (same as the above)

2:00 - 3:00 pm:  Tour the Grounds on your own.

1. If it rains will there be a rain date?  Waiting on word from the Grounds.



2. Where TBBC FF registration? Inside the main entrance, the Seward Johnson
Building (aka Welcome Center). The front entrance of the building is front
entrance is the one facing the front gate



3. What is the acceptable number of patrons plus their guides (if they need
one) for the guided touch tours? 15



4. Where are the free wristbands (patron + one guest) given out? At the
main gate as you enter in your car, but GFS can have some as back up inside
welcome center.



5. Can we bring our own food and will there be seating available to do so?
There are several benches throughout the grounds and picnic table next to
the Motor Exhibits Building. Note that outside food is officially not
allowed on the grounds, but we can make exceptions for dietary needs.



6. How do guest purchase tickets? Online only with this link:
https://www.groundsforsculpture.org/timed-admission-tickets/. Once they
have chosen day and time and proceed to check on the order summary page use
this code TBB2022 in the discount code box and proceed to check out with
credit card only.



7. Does the Van Gogh café or reservation only Rat’s Restaurant accept cash?
