Only 11 days left to reserve your hotel room at the convention special rate
to attend our 46th Annual  In-Person State  Convention, A’nit No  Stopping
Us  Now.

The  NFBNJ Board of Directors would like to thank registered participants,
sponsors and vendors for their support with an invitation to join us for a
Membership and Friendship Appreciation Pizza Party being held on Thursday,
November 10 at 5:30 PM.

We are pleased to announce Judy Ruffalo will be attending this year’s
convention as a guest of the affiliate.

Also, in-person members will have an opportunity to vote on a resolution
honoring Joe for his dedication not only as immediate past president of 27
years but also as a friend, leader and mentor to the blind of New Jersey.

Here is your chance to participate and learn more about the NFB’s programs
and goals on the state and national level. Hear from the NFB national
representative Sheila Wright, president of the Missouri affiliate and newly
elected board member of the NFB Board of Directors.

Also, hear from speakers on topics of national and state importance,
membership, seniors, technology, Braille, students, guide dog users, and
parents’ concerns, meet the scholarship class of 2022 and much more!

Mark your calendars and make every effort to attend the 46th Annual state
convention of the NFB of New Jersey. Get involved. Make a difference!

Time is running out, don’t hesitate to make your room reservations today

Room Reservations

The Delta by Marriott Hotel Woodbridge is now accepting room reservations
for the State Convention. To make your reservation 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week, please dial 800-468-3571 and use the group name of National
Federation of the Blind of New Jersey or NFBNJ. The best time to call is
during regular business hours, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The 2022 room rate is
$124 a night. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local
taxes, which at present is 6.625% and will be in effect at the time of
check-out. The room rate includes bagged continental breakfasts for each
night (2 per room).

For those considering arriving early, there is a limited number of
available guest rooms as another group will be occupying most of the hotel
on Wednesday, November 9. Don’t hesitate, please make your room
reservations as soon as possible. Our block of rooms are available until
Monday, October 10, and any remaining rooms will become available to the
general public. You will need a credit card to secure your reservation,
There will be no charge to your card until you arrive at the hotel. In
addition, there are a limited number of wheelchair accessible rooms and if
needed, make it known when you are making your room reservation.
