[NFBNJ] Registration Open for Spring 2023 LEAP Technology Classes

The NJ Department of Human Services Commission for the Blind and Visually
Impaired and the New Jersey State Library Talking Book and Braille Center
are pleased to announce that registration has opened for the next round of
free technology courses as part of the Library Equal Access Program (LEAP).
LEAP is a series of free classes sponsored by The NJ Commission for the
Blind and Visually Impaired in partnership with the Talking Book and
Braille Center and several public libraries. These classes help individuals
55 and older, who have a loss in vision, learn about accessibility tools
that are available on iPads and iPhones.
The next round of classes will include an iPads and iPhone course for
beginners, and an iPads and iPhone course for intermediate users. iPads
will be available for students to use in class, iPhones are not provided
and participants may bring in their own phones.
Classes are starting soon at the following locations
Atlantic City Public Library – Richmond Avenue location
Cherry Hill Public Library
East Brunswick Public Library
Gloucester County Library System – Mullica Hill Branch
Johnson Public Library in Hackensack
Newark Public Library
Ocean County Library – Toms River
Talking Book and Braille Center in Trenton
