[NFBNJ] Great News regarding NJ Assembly Bill A4647 Accessible Vote by Mail

Greetings all,

I am pleased to announce the passing of A4647 Accessible Vote by Mail bill
in our Assembly.  This would not have happened without our combined efforts
with Disability Rights NJ.  Thank you to our team who testified in person
and everyone who submitted written testimony in favor; our voices have been
heard!

Additional great news Senator Madden has sponsored this bill in our Senate.
The bill number is  3302.  We now need to turn our efforts to the Senate. I
have reached out to his chief of staff to schedule a meeting.  I hope to
have this meeting one day this week or early next week.  After this meeting
Ryan Stevens, NFBNJ Legislative Director and myself will develop
a strategy for our next steps.

Stay tuned and be ready once again to advocate and educate on why NJ needs
Accessible Voting that includes electronic delivery and return!
